Lodge Le Progrès de l’Océanie is proud to share that Worshipful Brother Timothy K.S. Yuen has been honored with the Hiram Award, the highest recognition a lodge can bestow upon a Mason in Hawaii. This distinguished honor, awarded under the authority of the Grand Lodge of Hawaii, celebrates a Master Mason’s lifelong devotion, unselfish service, and steadfast commitment to Freemasonry and the broader community.
The Hiram Award is not something one can seek or apply for. Rather, it is a rare and singular distinction, conferred only when a lodge determines that a brother’s contributions have far exceeded ordinary expectations. It represents the deep respect and esteem of his brethren and acknowledges years of labor—much of it quiet, humble, and often unseen—that strengthens the Craft and benefits countless others.
Worshipful Brother Yuen has dedicated decades to the Masonic fraternity. He served as Master of Waikīkī Lodge F&AM in 1990 and later as Master of Lodge Le Progrès de l’Océanie from 2014 to 2015. His leadership, mentorship, and example have left an indelible mark on his lodges and on Freemasonry in Hawaii.
The brethren of Lodge Le Progrès de l’Océanie extend their warmest congratulations to Worshipful Brother Yuen on this well-deserved honor, and we are grateful for his years of service, integrity, and devotion to the principles of our Craft.
