Lodge Le Progrès de l’Océanie recently had the privilege of visiting our esteemed sister Lodge, Koʻolau Lodge F&AM, in beautiful Kailua, Hawaii. This gathering was more than just an event on our calendar; it was a vital part of our Masonic experience, reinforcing the bonds of brotherhood that unite us.
In Freemasonry, visits to sister Lodges hold great significance. They foster fellowship, facilitate the sharing of knowledge, and celebrate our shared values. Each Lodge has its own unique culture, customs, and traditions, enriching our understanding of the Craft and deepening our connections.
Under the leadership of Worshipful Master Dino Montalbo, members of Lodge Le Progrès de l’Océanie were graciously welcomed by the brethren of Koʻolau Lodge. The stunning backdrop of Kailua set the stage for an evening filled with camaraderie and connection.
The night began with a delightful meal, where brothers from both Lodges exchanged stories and laughter. Following dinner, we gathered in the Lodge room, where the true spirit of Freemasonry shone brightly.
Throughout the evening, discussions naturally turned to our respective charitable initiatives and community projects. Hearing about Koʻolau Lodge’s efforts was inspiring, and we explored potential collaborations for future endeavors. Service to our communities is a cornerstone of our Masonic mission, and it was heartening to see this dedication reflected in both Lodges.
As the evening concluded, the sense of brotherhood was evident. Worshipful Dino Montalbo expressed heartfelt gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by Koʻolau Lodge and emphasized how eagerly we look forward to our next visit. The connections forged during this gathering will strengthen our fraternal ties and inspire future collaboration.
