In every journey, there comes a time when we must bid farewell to our cherished companions. In the Masonic fraternity, a strong sense of brotherhood and unity is woven into the very fabric of our existence. When we lose a fellow Mason, it is our duty to honor their memory and celebrate the impact they made on our lives.
At the heart of every Masonic lodge lies a deep commitment to upholding traditions, rituals, and values that have been passed down through generations. One such occasion that captures the essence of this commitment is the Lodge of Remembrance. This event serves as a solemn yet beautiful occasion where members gather to pay homage to and honor those who have embarked on their eternal journey.
On June 2, 2023, the members of Lodge Le Progres de l’ Oceanie held such an event, remembering those brethren who have contributed to the legacy of the lodge.
